Fire mishaps are most common incidents in present days

This mishap can happen because of human error or some times because of nature. The wild fire usually happens because of the extreme heat in nature. Fire mishaps in buildings and homes happen because of short circuit or because of gas leakage. As a precautionary measure all the public places and offices have a fire safety drill once in a month. In this drill the fire personnel teach how to use powder fire extinguisher and first aid tips for people who suffer from injuries. Every office will have fire alarm fitted at many places inside to avert any fire break.

Girugamesh Rocks Beyond The Music

I've been to a Girugamesh concert this past summer. They are a Japanese metal band, full of fresh beats and outside the mainstream music media such as Lady Gaga and the Black Eyed Peas. The concert was very well prepared they even had pyrotechnics. The crowd sang perfectly with the several songs they preformed. All of my friends loved being there, we just generally had one of the best times of our lives. We even got some free loot from the promotional vendors at the entrances. How can you beat great music, great people, and great free stuff?  Girugamesh! Girugamesh!

My Future Vacation

I would love to travel to the United Kingdom. London seems like a fantastic city, with many great customs such as tea time. The culture and refrences they have created such as the "loo" are interesting, and I'd like to learn more! I've heard of other terms such as "Chav" which refers to a tour guide to downtown London. It would be wonderful if I could get a Chav to show me around the city and bring me to Big Ben to watch the hands tick down to each hour. I'd also love to eat some crumpets as I've never had them before.

Visit to Africa

When I was ten years old, I arrived in Africa. This was by far the coolest place I've ever been too. It was nice to get back to an acient way of living. The bathrooms didn't have toilet paper, you had to use your hand with a leaf. Africa taught me of how much we take for granted the modern comforts we have today, like toilet paper and soap. Many of the houses were built with mud and sticks, the people were often dirty and covered with the blood of their latest hunt. They did participate in some sports, like basketball, when I participated they would always beat me. Africa is a great place.

The Day my Dog Died

My dog has recently died. He was hit by a truck. I was walking him, with his leash on. I looked over to the side of the street where they were selling some ice cream. I walked over to the stand and purchased a cherry swirl. It was then I realized of the tragic situation I was in. I had let go of the leash. I dropped the ice cream on the pavement when I heard the howl. It was my fault the animal died, due to my greed of ice cream. The cherry swirl's red splatter matched the one of poor Russel.

Summer is Almost Here, Making me Long for Snow

Everyone loves Spring, and can you blame them? From fresh flowers and budding trees to baby birds and greener grass, the season has everything to offer that is lovely and new. There are few people who would back to winter and wish that snow was still around. I am in that minority. I love Spring for the same reasons everyone else does, but I also know that the sultry, humid days of Summer are coming, and it is this part of the year that I hate more than anything. I have always said if I have to choose between negative two (degrees) and 92 (degrees), I will take the former any day!

Author Harvey McKay has so Many Good Things to Say

Not too long ago, I read “How to Swim With the Sharks Without Getting Eaten Alive” by Harvey McKay. It was an outstanding book for many reasons, and it made me pick up another one of his books just recently. I am now reading “Dig Your Well Before You're Thirsty: The Only Networking Book You'll Ever Need” and I am equally engrossed. McKay has a writing style that is engaging and fun to read. He writes in short, concise chapters that you can read even if you have only a few minutes, and you can get more out of these 10 paragraphs than you can from other authors in a dozen pages. McKay takes his real world experience and the expert knowledge from his peers and combines them into pleasing anecdotes that can help you in the real world. What more could I possibly want out of a book?

It is so Hard to Pick My Very Favorite Food

I love to eat, and I have grown up in a family in which food has been a central part of all our celebrations and family get-togethers. My mood has a great influence on the types of foods I eat and when, but if I had to hone in on a couple of items in particular, my favorites would fall into three distinct categories. First of all, I love seafood: crab legs are what I like the most, but I also adore lobster, tilapia, shrimp, and scallops. Secondly, dairy products rank high on my list: from cheese to ice cream, anything in the dairy family is pleasing to my taste buds. Finally, I really like red meat. I know it is not the best thing for me, and I don't eat in terrible excess. However, it is hard to enjoy anything more than a nice hot steak or a nice juicy hamburger from the grill.

Oh So Useful

Fire is a chemical reaction of fuel and oxygen in presence of heat. It is a chain reaction in which a minimum temperature is required which is called ignition temperature. But only fuel, heat and oxygen are not sufficient to catch fire unless chain reaction is not there. Fire is classified into four categories like class A-general fire, class B-oil fire, class C-gaseous fire and class D-metallic fire. There is another type of fire called electric fire which is nothing but a general fire when electric supply is switched off. There are many types of water fire extinguishers like foam type e.g. 9 liter Aqueous Film Forming Foam(AFFF) used for general and oil fire, Dry Chemical Powder used for metallic fire, Carbon dioxide used for electric fire, water, fire bitter, sand, fire blanket etc. Fire should be controlled it its initial stage otherwise it is very difficult to extinguish in later stage. There are many government and non government fire fighting agencies in the country.

Flexibility is the Key to My Daily Schedule

Many people who work at home admit that they cannot keep themselves on any kind of schedule. Fortunately, I have found that working at home has made it just the opposite for me. I am able to keep myself on track each and every day, and I have plenty of time to deal with all of those unexpected things that might come up when I am in the middle of something. Generally, I get up, and then check my email. I then eat my breakfast while I am planning out the rest of my day. My schedule varies from day to day, an it depends a lot upon whether I will be in the office placing orders and doing paperwork, or whether I will be out on the road, visiting clients and going to meetings. Whatever is the case, I have to be ready for rush orders or last-minute projects. These must always take precedence over whatever activities I may have had planned. This is why flexibility must be mt highest priority.
