We had decided that for Rob's last day we should really do something special. The retirement party was proceeding as these events typically do. The employees all loitered around the table of refreshment, exchanging bland conversations and niceties. In the spirit of the time Rob had set the coffee machine on fire, Joe was going to charge into the room with an empty fire extinguisher screaming warnings of fire. Everything was going according to plan, but the fire extinguisher was not empty. The attendees looked on in shock as fire retardant covered Rob, flecks drifting down and coating the room and everything and everyone in it.

I've been employed in some interesting places so far in my life. One of the positions I held was as an extern pharmacy tech at CVS. I learned about the entire process of filling prescriptions and why it can sometimes take ages to collect them. A similar position I held for roughly six years, on and off, was as a veterinary technician. I was given a great on-the-job education about animal biology as well as medicine, which was transferable to human anatomy and physiology. In between the two tech positions, however, I worked at a café that served mostly sandwiches, soups, salads, bagels, pastries, and coffee. I spent four years prepping food and putting my barrista training to good use. To this day I can still make a wonderful Cappuccino or Café Brevé.

I think my favorite, though, was being a veterinary technician. Aside from learning about medicine I also made some wonderful friends at the hospitals. Although I do not work for a veterinary clinic or hospital any longer, I still maintain my veterinary knowledge through my friends, the internet, and publications. It has proven useful many, many times.

I have always wanted to travel to England. My ancestors came from Liverpool, Blackpool, and sundry other ports along the west coast. I would love to go there on holiday or possibly live there. To be able to traverse the same roads as my antecedent relatives would be awe-inspiring.

Of course, there is also the great English culinary fare that I enjoy so much. Sausage rolls are a favorite, as are cottage pie, trifle, and Scotch Eggs. I would also have to visit some markets such as ASDA or Tesco in order to stock up on Ribena (a dark, very sweet blackcurrant juice) and several flavors of potato crisps that are not made in America, such as smoky bacon or steak and onion.

Needless to say, it would be difficult for me to leave England. Of course, a visit to a local barrister regarding visas could always be put on the itinerary.

When i was younger it was just my mother taking care of me and my two other sisters so we never really had much . We were teased alot in school becasue we were not up to there standard as far as cloths or shoes or even electronics but we dealt with it because we knew our mother did our best . Before our step dad my mother only had one boyfreind who she later on found out had raped me and my middle sister so he went to jail and we went through therapy but we grew out of it and put it in our past and moved on with our life as it is now . We moved on and now we just never think about it except every now and then our mother still asks about it and appologizes even though she never knew he was like that because on the outside you would have thought he was a very nice guy but we moved on and its all in the past now and doesnt really effect us anymore.

there is plenty of things about me that are great . Im super funny which is the best i can make just about anyone laugh or atleast smile.Ive been told im a great listener because i listen to them not just stop and talk about me . I have help plenty of people just by talking to them . I can talk my way out of most things they say. My aperance may not be the best like a model but i love myself . People have said the best thing is my smile and lips which i could agree i love my lips and im a great kisser so they say . Other than that i would say my eyes because in the normal lighting my eyes are brown but in the sun or perfect lighting they are many colors light brown and green and hazel even a little hint of blue . So for my favorite i say my eyes they light up the world to me.

If i could change thing that happen in the wourl it would be for the less fortunate to have more . For everyone to always have plenty of food for there familys to always be able to put food on the table and for kids to get things for christmas that they always wanted . All the rich people out there wasteing there money on petty things like 20 cars and 10 houses and alot of bling as they say . If I just had some of there money to build a house for my family to live in and always have food on the table and one car i would be fine with that . I would love to make it to wear people less fortunate like me could have some things like that . theres to many needy people out there that could use the help but guess the rick people dont see it that way. So i would change and make sure everyone had some money and make sure everyone had food and a nice bed and home of there own to sleep in.

I enjoy a little of everything really like country, rap, R&B, oldies even some kids songs. Music has always been in my life from day one till the present . I really love oldies the best because its songs i can go over to my mothers and visit and turn oldies on and we would just start singing and jaming out to it . As far as music i dont like would probably be jazz or the blues cause i just cant really understand it the instruments are nice to hear sometimes but its not really something i would normally listen to in a normal day so for my least favorite would have to say jazz . Really though i enjoy all types of music . I even fall asleep to it like classical .

There's a lot of things in your house that can kill you. Some are in your kitchen, some, in your bathroom--and there's even some in your basement. But there's one around that can kill you without you even knowing that it's been there. Carbon monoxide. Fortunately, there is a way to help alert you and your family about this danger, and that is a carbon monoxide alarm. It's a bit like a fire alarm in that it can be stuck on the wall and emits a loud noise when it detects carbon monoxide It's a vital piece of equipment, much like the fire alarm and sprinkler system that some houses have. Give it some thought--it could save your life.
