Winter Driving

Every year my husband and I drive, snow chains and all, to the mountains to stay with his parents for Christmas.  The entire family meets up there, because they often have snow and plenty of room to house each of us.  They have a tradition Christmas morning of opening presents with a painfully slow custom of one at a time, which takes nearly the entire morning and afternoon.  My favorite part of the day is when I get to take the dogs for a walk over lunch, where I can be outside, away from everyone, taking in the crisp mountain air.
